The respect and appreciation of care work must be considered by the public to be deserved, necessary and recognized ! Pflegegrundsätze PDF - ger - deutsch Together with many fellow combatants - Claus Fussek - calls the Compliance with the following "Minimum Requirements for a Decent Primary Care". And that, in a country (Germany) which of course claims to respect human rights in particular. In a country (Germany) claiming to pay particular attention to human rights, it should be understood that the following minimum requirements for decent primary care are respected:

1.1 Meals: Every person in need of care has to be able to receive his daily meals and sufficient fluid in his own rapid rate within that speed she or he can chewing and swallowing.

1.2 Meals: Gastric tubes and infusions as a so-called nurturing and thus care-avoiding measure are inhumane and a bodily injury.

2. Toilet: Everybody has to be brought to the toilet as often as he or she wants (diapers and permanent catheters are used as a care-relief measure are inhumane and personal injury).

3. Clothing: Everyone has to be washed, dressed, combed and given his teeth daily (if desired).

4. Fresh Air: Everybody has to have the possibility to get out of bed every day and get some fresh air.

5. Room Partner: Everyone has, if there are already double and multiple rooms, at least have the opportunity to choose the room partner or reject.

6. Communication: Everyone must have the opportunity to communicate in their native language. Comforting, caring, listening, being patient, to be hugged, must not be dismissed as "caviar benefits" that can not be settled.

7. Finally, the final commandment: Every person in need of care must have the certainty that at least someone holds his hand in the hour of death, or maybe he speaks a prayer so that she or he does not feel alone and lonely must die.

A prerequisite for the realization of these requirements is of course that there are enough sympathetic, dedicated, technically and humanly qualified nurses. They also have to be paid in such a way that they can live properly and work in decent conditions.

Working as a nurse is steadily an honorable task, often as a last service to one's fellow human being, which earns respect and recognition (through good pay). The respect and appreciation of care work must be considered by the public to be deserved, necessary and recognized.
